Shakshuka

Shakshuka is a popular dish from Israeli and North African cuisine. While it is often eaten for breakfast in some countries, in others it is preferred to be served in the evening. The dish consists of poached eggs, a tomato sauce, chili, and onions. There are several variations. For example, in Spain there is Pisto, which is very similar to Shakshuka. Pita or white bread is served with the tomato sauce. Ingredients for 2 people

1-2 chili peppers

3 tbsp tomato paste

5-6 large tomatoes
